On Saturday there were elections in Territorial District 15 (Talin city) for a seat under majoritarian system. According to the preliminary information, ARP member Khachik Manukyan received majority of votes and was elected. To note, following the elections of May 12 of this year Khachik Manukyan dropped his mandate in order not to give place to the rumors that he hadn’t been elected fairly. This time Mr. Manukyan is not going to drop his mandate since he has received majority of votes. His competitor Raffi Hovhannisyan congratulated him yesterday, however stressed that the elections had not been “free and fair”.
