According to our information, the Russian “Troyka Dialog” company is going to purchase the Armenian “Haynerardbank”, with which the last stage of negotiations is pending. Recently the rumors on the sale of another Armenian bank, “AREXIMBANK” are also discussed, which as we have already informed is planned to be sold to the Russian Gazprom Bank. If these transactions take place, it will mean that the Russian capital will penetrate into the banking system of Armenia as well. Also, it’s not an accident that the rumors of the sale of Armenian banks to Russian companies have become more actual during the business meeting of Robert Kocharyan with Vladimir Putin. It’s not excluded that this issue was one of the agenda points of the meeting of the two presidents. And if the rumors on Kocharyan’s wish to become the head of the consortium of Russian companies functioning in Armenia after the latter’s presidency come true then Kocharyan is going to do his best to sell to Russians as many Armenian companies as possible .
