According to certain information, the former minister of trade and economic development, Karen Tchshmarityan, since becoming a NA Deputy, has started to build a villa in Garni. He has bought quite a large area, and has started the foundation of the building. When talking to us on the phone, Tchshmarityan admitted that he has land in Garni and that he wishes to build a villa, but added that after the construction of the foundation he ceased the construction because it costs too much. “I bought land in Garni a long time ago. Perhaps one day when I start to do business I will be able to build it,” said Tchshmarityan, whose name is often tied with a number of large businesses, starting from Zangezur Molybdenum Plant and ending with the Golden Palace Hotel, the de jure owner of which is Tchshmarityan’s cousin. Also one more former minister, Vardan Ayvazyan, who also got elected MP, has started to build a villa in the Vahagni neighborhood.
