Yesterday in Kiev, during its 16th session, the OSCE PA expressed the intention to show support for the resolution of frozen conflicts. The document of the OSCE expresses deep concerns about the frozen conflicts of the OSCE regions, especially about the on-going conflicts in the territories of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova. It is also concerned about the fact that the borders of its member states are blocked for each other. The OSCE PA shows its intention to make all the necessary efforts to peacefully regulate all the frozen conflicts in the territory of Moldova and Georgia based on the full principles adopted in Istanbul in 1999. The document also notifies to use similar conflicts as examples of solutions of the mentioned ones. Swedish citizen Goran Lenmarker was re-elected chairman of the OSCE PA till the OSCE PA session in 2008.
