What opposition do you expect from him?

As you recall, leader of “Legal State”, Arthur Baghdasaryan, explained his reason for not appealing to court for the well-known secret recording of his conversation as due to the situation of the judicial system of Armenia. But “Legal State” did appeal to the Constitutional Court concerning the elections, but regretted halfway and took back his complaints about some results under the majoritarian system. Doesn’t this kind of behavior show that one of the two oppositional parties in parliament doesn’t take its work seriously? Shavarsh Kocharyan, leader of the National Democratic Party, told a “168 Hours” correspondent:

“I have said several times that I don’t consider Arthur Baghdasaryan as oppositional. He can’t be part of the government either, simply because he was thrown out of government, and that is a different story.”
