The term of the coalition collaboration memorandum with ARF will finish several months before the upcoming presidential elections of 2008, as ARF is going to run with its own candidate, while ARP and PA have agreed to back the same candidate. Certainly, the mentioned candidate to be backed by these two governmental parties is Serge Sargsyan, but it is not yet clear who ARF’s candidate will be. ARF is going to discuss this issue during their general meeting, to be held in autumn.
