Yesterday Youri Merzlyakov, the Russian co-chair of OSCE MG, said in Baku that “the possible agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan might satisfy the parties by only 50%”. He said that “they could already imagine what the possible agreement could be”. OSCE MG French co-chair Bernard Fasier said that for the purpose of reaching an agreement, the people of the two countries should be prepared for compromises and peace. “It is impossible to prepare them for peace while speaking only about war,” said Fasier.
