Samvel Farmanyan offended by Artur Baghdasaryan

Starting from May 12, the branch offices of the Legal State party have started to be “optimalized”. The number of those offices has started to drastically decrease because of lack of money. Of course it’s not only the Legal State offices that are being shut down, but the remarkable thing is that the Legal State members are getting more passionate and anxious.

It turns out that the relations of Legal State chairman Artur Baghdasaryan and the party youth wing chairman Samvel Farmanyan are quite tense. The reason for that is that Farmanyan is really ambitious. According to our information Farmanyan, who occupied 13th place in the proportional list of the party, has recently called Baghdasaryan and said that as he’d gained more votes through the majoritarian system than the Legal State deputy-chairpersons, Heghine Bisharyan and Mher Shahgeldyan, and therefore it wouldn’t be fair not to allow him to become an MP. Farmanyan has also offered a solution to Baghdasaryan, by which Baghdasaryan mediates and the people who came out ahead of Farmanyan refuse their mandates, and everything will be fair again, and Farmanyan will be an MP. They say that Baghdasaryan has promised to do that favor for Farmanyan, and the latter had himself pretending to be a young MP and even received congratulations. However, Farmanyan’s happiness didn’t last very long. When Farmanyan met Baghdasaryan, he realized that “Najaryan has changed his mind” (referring to a popular film character who promises something but takes it back). Or, perhaps he had misunderstood “Najaryan” but that is not the key stuff here. But as it seems, Farmanyan didn’t show any intention of giving up. According to our sources Farmanyan had lobbied among the party youth wing members and the latter went to Baghdasaryan and complained that Farmanyan should be named MP, especially if he gained more votes through the majoritarian system than the party chairpersons. But Baghdasaryan didn’t change his mind. Recently Legal State submitted to the CEC the names of the members who got mandates, and Farmanyan’s name wasn’t there. So his dream didn’t come true. After all is said and done, will Farmanyan decide to stay with Baghdasaryan, or will he follow his former senior colleagues? Nothing is clear yet but they say that the young man feels quite offended by Baghdasaryan.
