Yesterday the Prosecutor’s Office of Shirak marz released an announcement that on May 22 the police found a Toyota Land Cruiser (plate numbers – 77 UL 222) SUV, on Yerevan Street in Gyumri, near the yard of a private house. The SUV belongs to a resident of Teryan Street 133 of Gyumri, Rustam Sargsyan. The windows and the doors of the SUV were covered with gunshots. According to the Prosecutor’s Office of Shirak, Sargsyan fled, and they are currently searching for him. On that same day, the police found the owner of the Hummer truck (plate numbers – 44 SS 440), Artyom Ghukasyan. Just to remind, the incident took place in Gyumri late May 20. At about 8:30 PM, an emergency call was made from the local hospital saying a citizen who had been shot in the foot was brought there. The gunfight was between Spartak Ghukasyan, son of Vardan Ghukasyan, Gyumri’s mayor, and Rustam Sargsyan, son of Artashes Sargsyan, the responsible person for Prosperous Armenia at election community 34.
