Yesterday “Impeachment” bloc, “Republic” and “New Times” party organized the biggest rally since the recent parliamentary elections. It took place in Freedom Square, with the participation of 10-12,000 citizens. Following the rally, the participants walked down Mashtots Boulevard, and then continued their way to the Republic Square by way of Amiryan Street. The participants were shouting slogans such as “Impeachment”, “Victory”, “let’s make them leave”, etc. The rally was organized within the law. It finished in the Republic Square. There weren’t any incidents during the rally. “The elections of May 12 were falsified. The results should be voided. They should organize another vote,” claimed the organizers of the rally, among the organizers of which were “Impeachment” bloc, “Republic”, “New Times”, ADP and “Legal State” parties. The next rally will take place on May 25, but there will definitely be other actions before that. Furthermore, today at 8 PM there will be a march with candles to the police office of Yerevan, where Levon Gulyan was recently killed (aged 32). Levon’s relatives say that he was killed by the first deputy head of the police board, Hovik Tamamyan, who beat him viciously to the point of death and then, to create an incident, they threw his body out the window of the Police building.
