According to the recent CEC data of Sunday, three pro-governmental and two oppositional parties have overcome the 5-percent threshold: the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Legal State Party and Heritage Party. On Sunday at 3:00 PM the CEC released the preliminary results of the voting to parliament. According to the information of the CEC, the turnout was 1,389,521, which comprises 59.9 percent of eligible citizens. Here are the results – Republican Party 457,032; Prosperous Armenia Party 204,443; Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun 177,192; Legal State 95,256; and Heritage 80,890. In this parliament the PPA, which gathered only 23,869, will not be represented. So won’t the United Labor Party, at 59,307, and National Unity, with 49,863. Arshak Sadoyan also bid farewell to his permanent radio audience, as the Democratic Way Party gathered only 8,468 votes. Also, the results of the proportional elections will be finalized by the CEC on May 19, and the majoritarian results will be finalized on May 18.
