Demirchyan and Geghamyan should flip coins

Yesterday the head of “Republic” party, Aram Sargsyan, had a meeting with voters in Vardenis, where he accused certain people in failing to unite the opposition. Mr. Sargsyan believes that the program of uniting was disrupted first of all by the opposition members themselves. He also informed of certain names he believes are guilty in the failing. “When you are suggesting to them to unite and make a joint list, Geghamyan says that the joint version is not good. Why? Because he worries about the 5%, because he wants to have the 5%, so he can go to Strasbourg and make a speech there… If you, Artashes Geghamyan and Stepan Demirchyan, have a problem with deciding who the first one on the list is, you can flip a coin,” Sargsyan said. He also informed that the activities of “Republic” and “New Times” parties and “Impeachment” bloc were going to be agreed on starting from May 3. “We will pay visits and organize rallies together starting from May 3. This is what we can say now, and as for future plans, we are still discussing them and will inform about those later,” he said. To note, the three mentioned political powers are organizing a rally in “Freedom” square on May 3.
