On Monday, leader of the Armenian Popular Party Stepan Demirchyan visited the Gegharkunik Marz, where he responded to the assurances of Serge Sargsyan to strengthen the fight against corruption by claiming that the existing government itself “is buried in corruption”.
“The high-ranking government offices have turned into a means of starting a business,” said Demirchyan during one of his meetings and added: “The government buried in corruption is talking about the fight against corruption. Only the government that doesn’t owe anybody anything may talk about the fight against corruption. How can a government that relies on its criminals during elections talk about the fight against corruption?”
