“Having a pivotal role in the development processes of the political system, today the Armenian Republican Party continues to appear in the public eye in a new way. The main issue in our political party platform is future stable development,” said Artak Zakaryan, member of the Republican Party council, during a press conference on Wednesday. According to Zakaryan, the pre-election meetings show that a considerable part of society bases the decision of voting for this or that party on the solutions to the main social issues stated in the pre-election platform.
“The public is taking into account the work that the party has done in the years before as well. This is the most important precondition for creating a civil society. The public must vote conscientiously,” said Zakaryan.
According to Zakaryan, the Republican Party faces the issue of becoming dominant in parliament, although having a majority. Zakaryan is of the opinion that there are no “black technologies” applied in the pre-election process and there are equal conditions for political parties to carry out the campaign in the country.
