“The Russian side is ready to participate in the new nuclear power plant construction in Armenia,” said Sergey Kirienko, head of the Russian Atomic Energy Federative Agency, on Monday.
“If the Armenian government passes a resolution on the construction of a new nuclear power plant, the Russian side is not only ready to implement the construction, but also provide the necessary financial means.”
Kirienko also informed on Monday that issues regarding the construction of the new nuclear power plant, the exploitation of the existing one, and increasing its security had been discussed at the Energy Ministry of Armenia.
