The French Mason organization GRAND ORIENT DE FRANCE (Grand Middle East of France) delegation also visited the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex on April 24. Representatives of the delegation are visiting Armenia for the first time “with the purpose of personally sharing the sorrow of the Armenians dispersed around the world and expressing their condolences in memory of the 1.5 million victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915.”
“This trip is very important for the French, the Armenian Community of France and each human being around the world to recognize the fact that there was an Armenian Genocide,” as stated in the organization’s message.
