The Prosecutor General’s office of Armenia has quashed the criminal case that was filed concerning the crash of “Armavia” airlines’ “A-320” plane in Sochi on May 3, 2006. The Prosecutor General’s office accepted the final conclusion of the Intergovernmental Aviation Committee (IAC) as the basis for quashing the case. Based on that conclusion, the plane had crashed due to the uncoordinated activities of the pilots. The Prosecutor General’s office quashed the case because the pilots, the “guilty”, are deceased.
