The “Heritage” political party continued its political campaign in the Vayots Dzor and Syunik Marzes on Wednesday. According a message from the political party office, an unpleasant event took place during their trip.
“The village head of Areni village met with the campaigners and announced that nobody has the right to campaign in Areni without informing the village head 5 days in advance, because he is the owner of the village.”
Raffi Hovhannisyan tried to “call the village head who thought of himself as the local authority to order,” saying that “Areni cannot be the property of anybody and it belongs to all the villagers and the people of Armenia as well.”
