On Sunday, the PPA office in Gyumri made a unanimous decision to stop the activities of the office. The 9 members of the party board in Gyumri sent a letter to the PPA Central Office and informed that they are leaving the party. The reason, according to former Gyumri office chairman Artashes Karapetyan, is that the Central Office doesn’t pay attention to the Gyumri Office, and that until now they haven’t given them any party posters or literature. Neither did they give them the necessary amount of money to organize the campaign. Karapetyan has also stated that the 9 members will still be in politics, yet it’s not known which party they’ll join.
