Yesterday Serge Sargsyan received the residents of North Avenue, Dalma gardens, Buzand Street, Firdus and Nork gardens, who have been complaining for months about the illegal construction but haven’t received any solution. Mayor Yervand Zakharyan also participated in the meeting. Sargsyan mentioned that he desires realistic solutions for the residents, however those need to be examined one by one. He also added that all the issues cannot be solved within a week. Sargsyan also added that he supports the idea that new apartments must be built in areas unused so far. However, taking into consideration the possible pre-election interests, he promised to find solutions for those issues and meet once again after the elections. The newly appointed Prime Minister has also received the former employees of the “Armenian Airlines” CJSC, whose complaint related to their unpaid salaries. As a large amount of money is demanded, Sargsyan has entrusted the head of the Aviation Bureau to find solutions within a short period of time, which wouldn’t contradict legislation.
