The public meeting of the “Impeachment” alliance took place at “Freedom” square on Friday. The meeting ended with a march with bottles towards the National Academy of Sciences where the brutal attacks had taken place on April 12 and 13, 2004 when armed policemen had attacked peaceful demonstrators. The bottles symbolized the protest of the demonstrators. Let us recall that one of the demonstrators of that night in 2004 was sentenced to three years in prison for attacking an armed policeman with an empty plastic bottle with the purpose of self-defense.
