During his meeting with Syrian President Bashar Asadi on April 12, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammedyarov informed Asadi about the current situation regarding the negotiations on the Karabagh conflict settlement. Asad, in his turn, according to head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Ministry, announced that Syria recognizes Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and supports the peaceful settlement of the conflict.
