The Armenian government staff confirmed on Friday by the decree of President Robert Kocharyan has not changed. The only post remaining vacant is that of the Defense Minister.
“Thus, based on Armenian legislation, the Armenian government has not officially been formed,” said the president’s press secretary Victor Soghomonyan to “ArmenPress” on Friday, adding that the new Defense Minister will be appointed in the next two weeks, within the 20-day time slot for the formation of the government.
