American co-president of the OSCE Minsk Group Matthew Bryza hopes that the next stage of negotiations between the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers on the Karabagh conflict settlement will take place in the second half of April.
“I hope that the meeting will take place in one of the cities of Eastern Europe in the next ten days,” said Bryza in his interview with the “Lider” television station. According to him, “the sides are close to reaching an agreement on the general principles of the Karabagh conflict settlement.”
“However, the ministers are still working on technical issues. As you know, the technical issues may have an impact on the results. If the foreign ministers reach success, then we can expect concrete results after the parliamentary elections, before July,” emphasized the intermediary.
In response to the observation that there is a concrete plan on the negotiations table and that the sides are waiting for the right time and are working on corrections, Bryza said: “Of course, each of the sides is waiting for the right time to sign.”
