On April 6 the head of Arabkir community, Hovhannes Shahinyan, organized a meeting with the participation of the candidates nominated under the majority system in Precinct 4 and OSCE monitors. The candidates that agreed to meet with the monitors are Suren Mamikonyan (Legal State), Hrayr Karapetyan (ARF), Aram Manukyan (ANM) and Zohrab Zohrabyan (ARP). We were informed by ANM board deputy chair Aram Manukyan that they discussed issues concerning organizing fair elections, preventing violations, and campaign programs in the same meeting halls or on the same TV channels. In a word, they discussed issues on how each of them could contribute to organizing fair elections. “The meeting was organized by the head of Arabkir community and there were two OSCE monitors there. We have agreed to meet periodically, and our next meeting will take place this coming Tuesday. Other candidates may join us as well, and if not, we will meet them again,” said A. Manukyan. To note, besides the mentioned candidates, the other candidates nominated in Precinct 4 are Sargis Muradkhanyan (NU), Hayrapet Hayrapetyan (PA) and Armen Manukyan (civil initiative). It is also worth mentioning that before the mentioned meeting, Hovhannes Shahinyan also met with the OSCE monitors separately.
