Eternally fresh theory of conspiracy

At present, there will hardly be a venerable analyst who would agree to present the real situation regardless of any threats or interests. As history shows, people accept information about some tragedy as a brick falling on somebody’s head more easily when it’s connected with some dark force conspiracy. The factor of conspiracy becomes even more acceptable when the story is told in detail. Recently after the death of the Prime Minister one very often hears people say, “They say the Prime Minister was…” And then you ask, “was what?” They suppose that this half sentence says everything already. And then they add, “He was poisoned with a pill…”

If you have noticed in Armenian mentality, the whole pain of the Armenians has been combined with the orchestra of Herbert Von Karayan and Charles Aznavour with his black shirt when singing. And when the film “Dzori Miro” (Miro of the Gorge) is shown the TV companies think they did a great job at presenting all the information and reality of that time. The Armenians become hysterical after that. The culmination of that is to show some scenes of the genocide of Armenians.

The reason why our society is inclined to see all the negative and conspiracies in everything, according to YSU head of civilization and cultural research center, Davit Hovhannisyan is the following, “The people connect things with conspiracy because there is, in reality, a lack of actual truthful information. And in fact if the story is connected with famous politicians, people tend to connect the death with other politicians’ activity. People draw conclusions all the time based on their own logic. However we shouldn’t always trust this logic because conspiracy has several scientific directions. First, the theory of conspiracy is a very complicated mechanism. It means that it’s hard to organize conspiracy with few people and little means. And if there are many people involved it’s going to be hard to keep the conspiracy a secret. It’s a fact that many conspiracies are attempted to be organized but few of them turn out to be successful.” In Hovhannisyan’s opinion people accept such things with pleasure because it contains certain mystery. “If we speak precisely about our society then we must state that it’s an unhealthy one. They always expect some calamity (not genetically but right now). It’s not a secret that on the death of the Prime Minister they spread rumors about the death of other respected people of the nation. Why? Something is going wrong, that’s why we are being punished. We have fear that whatever we are doing, we are doing it wrong. We can never bring it back on the right track. We refuse to see the positive. We think that god punishes us because we don’t do the right things. We are sick, our society is diseased. Recently I heard in the minibus somebody saying that the Armenian nation has been jinxed. One of my friends constantly tells me that everything is going wrong; our country is headed in the wrong direction, etc.” On my way back after talking to Hovhannisyan, the taxi driver said, “He was a good man, that’s why they killed him.”

In N city the local statesmen received a rumor that a reviser is coming to see them. The panic and fear became extreme when they found out that the reviser is coming incognito. And then finally one of the wisest and far-sighted statesmen said that the reviser is coming to see how’s everything is going because Russia is planning to start a war soon. We can say that our country is very quiet, that there are no major problems inside.
