The executive chief of “The millennium challenges corporation”, John Danilovich has said that the aids program for Armenia may be frozen if “something serious happens”. “If something very serious happens; for example if the elections are delayed, I mean delayed but not stopped, the article for freezing the program may be applied” said Mr. Danilovich in his speech in the House of the U.S. Senate Representatives department of state and foreign programs. “I hope such problems will not happen in the nearest future. One month ago I talked about it to president Kocharyan” said Mr. Danilovich. Answering to a question proposed by Joe Nolenberg whether the money can be claimed back if that process is evidently failed, Mr. Danilovich said that they did not anticipate such procedures.
