U.S. Charge d’Affaires in Armenia Anthony Godfrey says that he is satisfied with the relationship of Armenia with NATO. “Now the U.S. Embassy in Armenia places a higher role in developing the Armenia-NATO relations as the office of NATO in Armenia works in the U.S. Embassy building since January, 2007 while it used to work in the building of the Greek Embassy in Armenia before that”. Mr. Godfrey says that in order to develop good relations with NATO it is not necessary to be a member. Mr. Godfrey says that even though Armenia is not a member of NATO, it cooperates with it successfully.
