“My long conversation with the first deputy Prime-Minister of Russia, Sergey Ivanov is not strange at all. Instead the rumors around this conversations seem strange to me, according to which this was a meeting of two successors,” stated Serge Sargsyan after the concert of March 8. “I won’t say anything new if I reminded that I’m the chair of the Russian-Armenian intergovernmental committee. It means that there are numerous issues, which I’m supposed to resolve with both my colleague, Igor Levitin and Sergey Ivanov,” added Sargsyan. “I guarantee that everything is OK and nothing special happened. During those conversations we were trying to solve the obstacles of Armenia’s economy, relations of Armenian businesses with Russia’s, etc.” Also, on March 10-14 Defense Minster Sargsyan will pay an official visit to France. The delegation will have meetings France’s Defense Minister, Mrs. Michelle Alio-Mary and the head of French Army General Regiment, Jean Luis Jeorjeline. On March 13 Sargsyan will meet Charles Aznavour.
