They postponed

The International Relations committee of the U.S. Senate recently postponed the discussion on Resolution 65 condemning the assassination of Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink. The bill was presented by Democrat of the committee Joe Bayden. Executive director of the Armenian National Committee of America Aram Hambaryan expressed his worry about the postponement of the resolution discussion and stated that Senator Lugar “postponed the Senate’s step to pay tribute to the life and memory of H Dink under the pressure of the U.S. administration”. “We hope that the next time we get the opportunity and the bill is included in the agenda, any attempt to block the resolution will be denied and the resolution will be approved as planned,” said Hambaryan.
