Yesterday RA defense minister Serzh Sargsyan had a meeting with the elder deputy prime minister of Russia, Sergey Ivanov, who is considered the most possible follower of president Putin in Russia. This is their first meeting since Ivanov’s appointment in that position. During the meeting they discussed issues coordinated by Mr. Ivanov, i.e. issues concerning production, IT, aviation, economy, education, etc. They also noted the necessity of developing the Armenian-Russian relationship to a new level. During the meeting that lasted over one hour they discussed issues concerning improving the military cooperation between the two states and political processes.
