“I hope in 2008 Armenia will import gas from Iran as much as from Russia,” stated Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan in an interview with Jane’s Research Center. Experts of the center claim that two gas pipelines from Iran to Armenia will be constructed this year; the first will be ready this year and the second one in 2008. The Prime Minister also said that Armenia is conducting an integration policy to the international community. But Jane’s experts raise a question: Will Armenia reach this goal if we take into account Yerevan’s dependence on Moscow?”
