When speaking about the large-scale protests held in Istanbul and great cities of Turkey dedicated to the murder of Hrant Dink, NA ARF Deputy, Alvard Petrosyan said at Hayeli Club that those protests were held in participation of mostly Armenians and Kurds as well as Turks, who only by the orders from “above” were saying they are Armenians. “Turks are an extreme state supporting tribe. They signify the state interests and were able to play that political theater at the doors of Europe. Why not? They were even able to grab a Nobel Prize. They have mentioned my name too many times, saying that Alvard Petrosyan thinks that Turks don’t have a culture. I am repeating one more time. Turks don’t have their own culture. They might be a few talented people among 70 million population. One thing is clear if they had a culture they wouldn’t stay as Turks because culture is a light,” said Petrosyan. After this all we got to say is that dashnak is a dashnak and he/she never learns from mistakes. The members of that party are preaching chauvinism, which is legally forbidden. After what Petrosyan has mentioned we must understand that our fight should be directed not against a nation or country but against the thing to make such mentality a minimum.
