The head of the Armenian union of writers, Levon Ananyan is going to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections. He says that after the success of the TV marathon to support the writers’ union and the active participation of the citizens of the region where he is originally from (Tavush) he decided to be nominated under majoritarian system. “Generally the citizens of this region like literature. Besides that, there are two powerful people in the region who may support me” he said.
