Yesterday the spokesman of the RA Justice ministry informed that Justice minister David Harutyunyan is going to participate in the upcoming elections and be involved in the electoral lists of the “Armenian Republican Party”. Notwithstanding, the spokesman of the ARP has said, “The electoral lists of the ARP are not ready yet and this issue was not discussed during the recent board meeting, thus it will be discussed at the end of February only”. He also said that the central headquarter of their party had not received any letter of obtaining membership yet. Following this announcement the spokesman of the ministry said that Mr. Harutyunyan applied for obtaining membership on February 8. Mr. Sharmazanov said that they had really received that letter. Concerning this dispute ARP board member Samvel Nikoyan said, “Generally everyone, even the ministers, should wait until the board makes a final decision since it is the way how it should be done”.
