Expressed hope

17/02/2007

During a Friday press conference at the National Press Club, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Arman Kirakosyan expressed hope that the Armenian Genocide recognition bill will “reach its final destination” in the U.S. Congress this time. According to him, the human, moral and security factors of that recognition will be of importance to the Armenians. He is also of the opinion that today, instead of settling the issue concerning Armenian-Turkish relations Turkey has focused all its powers on creating obstacles for the approval of the resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide.
