Yesterday the commander of the 4th military unit of the Armenian army, Major-General Seiran Saroyan has applied to the defense minister to cease his service in the army. “Army officers don’t have a right to think about resigning or not since they are special servants. They can only ask that from their chiefs. This is what S. Saroyan did. Very soon either he will cease his service or not”, according to “Armenpress” said RA deputy defense minister Arthur Aghabekyan and added, “People are free to decide what to do with their lives”. By the way, during the upcoming elections S. Saroyan is going to be nominated in the 19th precinct.
