Responding to journalists’ questions during a press conference at the business center of the American University of Armenia on Monday, president of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Goran Lenmarker also discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. According to Lenmarker, “there must be and there is a possibility to come to the conclusion” of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict after the Armenian parliamentary elections. He also announced that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is “frozen” because “there are victims in the contact zone from both sides and both sides have the issue concerning refugees”. “Coming to terms is necessary. It is very important for Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia to create conditions to coexist and work together. That is when the region will flourish,” he mentioned.
