Prime Minister Andranik Markaryan congratulated the people of Armenia in light of the 15th anniversary of the formation of the Armenian Army. “Today, we can proudly state the fact that the Armenian Army is the reliable guarantee for the defense and security of not only our independent statehood, Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, but also meritoriously participates in the international peacekeeping processes, gaining necessary experience in order to stand up to the challenges of the world. By continuing to make efforts to develop our country, create a competitive economy and fortify our statehood, we clearly realize that that is one of the important preconditions for the realization of a strong and efficient army, implementation of reforms in the armed forces and construction of the army,” as stated in the address of the Prime Minister.
