In its yesterday’s extraordinary session the RA Public Service Regulating Commission made a decision to allow Armentel exploit those radio frequencies until March 3, 2013, through which the company provides fixed and mobile service. In the words of the chairman of the commission, Robert Nazaryan, the licenses given to Armentel are going to be expired on January 21 of the current years and if there was no extraordinary session the company would be deprived of providing telecommunication in certain regions of Armenia. The commission has also made a decision to prolong the exploitation of radio frequencies in Spitak and Eghegnadzor towns until March 3, 2013.
