American director and actor Sylvester Stallone is thinking about directing a film about the Armenian epic telling the story of the defense of Musa Dagh based on the novel “The Forty days of Musa Dagh”. According to Stallone, the film will tell how the Armenians organized the defense of Musa Dagh during the massacres of Armenians by Turks and how those Armenians were saved by the French boats. Stallone also realizes that Turkey will create obstacles for the film production. In fact, he has announced that Ankara has been denying the Armenian Genocide for 85 years.
