“There will not be any active negotiations before the upcoming parliamentary elections. I think it is immoral to use the issue of Karabakh conflict for pre-election campaigning purposes. They may criticize even the best suggestions if those suggestions are made before the elections” said Robert Kocharyan yesterday. According to the president there are some people in Armenia that are waiting for the moment they can use the conflict issue for pre-election campaigning purposes. “Even more, there are people that clearly say that Kocharyan is going to make compromises connected with the conflict and that they are going to use those facts for pre-election campaigning purposes. I have to disappoint them” said the president.
