Cleaning up the “Anti-criminal”

15/12/2006

Last week the members of the “Anti-criminal” political movement stopped its traditional policy and started cleaning up the organization. Two weeks ago Aram Karapetyan said that they had to clean up the organization and following that announcement they discussed the issue of stopping memberships in close conditions. According to our information, the former coalition colleague of “Rule of Law” has collected many facts witnessing against the RL and is going to publish them on the threshold of the parliamentary elections. One of the mentioned accusations is the fact that the European Academy of Armenia had some illegal actions in its board, which was connected with Arthur Baghdasaryan as well. By the way, the leaders of the “Anti-criminal” movement have also learned about the fact that some governmental political powers are also going to publish information witnessing about illegal activities covered by Arthur Baghdasaryan, particularly about his brother’s business in “Electronic City” company, according to which they imported goods illegally and didn’t pay their dues and taxes. In a word, the organizers of the mentioned movement now think that having so much facts against their colleague they can’t struggle against the powers tied with criminal groups and decided to exclude them from their organization. As for the Armenian Democratic party, the “Anti-criminal” leaders don’t like the fact that the leader of that party, Aram G. Sargsyan is depended much from the capital of the head of the Union of Russian Armenians, Ara Abrahamyan. By the way, they say that Ara Abrahamyan collaborates with the existing authorities.
