During the last meeting with the co-presidents of the OSCE Minsk Group, the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers were offered to schedule their next meeting for the end of January 2007. According to “Trend”, this is what Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamediarov told journalists. According to Mamediarov, the Armenian side asked for time to consult and discuss during the last meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group co-presidents. “That’s why it was decided to wait for the reply of the Armenian side,” said the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister.
