Stop revising inflation rates

According to “Mediamax”, the World Monetary Foundation (WMF) has advised the Armenian government not to revise the maximum line of inflation growth mark very often. This information was published after their meeting with the Armenian government, where WMF board of directors appreciated the policy of the Central Bank targeted to resisting inflation and added that the fiscal and taxation institutions had to work more effectively so that they could provide a low level of inflation and compatible currency exchange rates. The WMF board spoke about “the lack of overstated national currency rate factors” and added that the problem of the Armenian domestic production compatibility should be solved by “improving the domestic production capacity”, included by improving the business environment and creating adequate conditions for investment in the country.
