Russian insurance company “RESO” is going to found a branch company in Armenia together with “Uniastrum” bank in 2007. According to the president of “RESO” insurance company, Sergey Sargisov, 50% of the stocks will belong to their company, and the other 50% will be given to the mentioned bank. The latter says that the reason they are going to found that company in 2007 is the fact that currently the insurance market is being reformed and the system is being revised, thus companies are not given with temporary licenses. The chairman of Armenian “Unibank” board of directors, Gagik Zakaryan has informed “Business” newspaper (issued in Moscow) that the mentioned insurance company had already been registered and they were in the process of hiring employees.
