Armenian American benefactor Sarkis Hakobyan contributed 550,000 dollars, while Louise Simone Manukyan donated 500,000 dollars. Leader of the Armenian Union of Russia Ara Abrahamyan transferred 1 million dollars to the fund for a school construction in Stepanakert. This year Armenia contributed nearly 1 million dollars. Armenian businessman Mikhail Baghdasarov contributed 100,000 dollars, while businessmen Samvel Alexanyan and Ruben Hayrapetyan each gave 50,000 dollars. The “Liberty” radio station made a reference to press secretary of the “Hayastan” All Armenian Fund Anush Babayan and informed that well-known Armenian businessman Gagik Tsarukyan and his “Prosperous Armenia” party still haven’t made a contribution.
