Yesterday the Armenian parliament passed with 67 votes to none, with only three abstentions the government-proposed legislation on the alienation of property for “state and public needs”. The opposition, which with its whole personnel, was in the NA Hall, didn’t vote at all. The three deputies of Dashnaktsutyun abstained regardless of the ARF decision, by which they are against the bill. The protesters gathered near the entrance of the Parliament from Demirchyan Street, were not allowed to approach the NA gates.

“Would you refuse your property for the sake of state interest?” This question was asked by the citizens, who were deprived of their property. One of the journalists passed this question to Prime Minister Margaryan, who said,”” Yes, I would. There was time when I refused my life.”
