OSCE Minsk Group American co-chairman Matthew Bryza is certain that the Bush administration will be decisively against the approval of any law, which will have something to do with the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. The Turkish “Zaman” writes that Bryza has spoken at the annual convention of the Turkish-American Associations Assembly and has discussed the possible approval of the bill on the Armenian Genocide recognition presented at the U.S. House of Representatives. However, Bryza has added that the Democrats have come to power in Congress after the recent elections and it’s quite hard to determine the turn of events in times like these. The new speaker of the House of Representatives Democrat Nancy Pelosi ha promised to stand up for any bill having to do with the Armenian Genocide.
