The appeal of the “Arm Rus Gazard” will not be heard yet

18/11/2006

The Commission on Public Service Control  of RA still has to hear the appeal of the “Arm Rus Gazard” on raising the gas price for the Armenian producers. If the necessary decision is made, the income received from it will be aimed towards quickening the gasification process. This information was given by RA Prime-Minister, Andranik Margaryan during his interview with journalists. He emphasized that not only the gas price but also AMD revaluation affect the decrease of Armenian industry levels. In response to the question, “what does the government do to balance the exportation and importation rates by encouraging/supporting the Armenian producers?”, Margaryan said that currently the issues are being solved by the Anti-Monopoly Policy Commission. The Commission actively works to eliminate the monopolies in Armenia. The Prime-Minister promised that in 2007 the commission will work more effectively.
